We regard HIV/Aids as a serious issue and therefore we offer support services in conjunction with the campus healthcare centres. Services may include, but are not necessarily limited to:
- Counselling and support to infected and affected students
- Addressing the stigma of HIV
- Awareness and prevention campaigns
- Promotion of voluntary testing for HIV
- Promotion of dialogue on HIV-related matters
We also offer counselling and support relating to the following problems:
- Gender-based violence (sexual assault and consent)
- Substance abuse
- Abuse (physical/emotional/sexual)
- LGBTIAQ+
- Pregnancies (e.g. unplanned pregnancy)
- Death of family members (stages of grief)
- Empowerment of women/men (“No more” and male violence)
