Overview

To foster research and academic growth at North-West University, we offer financial support for open-access publishing in collaboration with the Library and Information Service, assist staff in pursuing higher degrees, and coordinate informal research development workshops. We manage programs like Thuso Connect and the Postdoctoral Research Fellowship Programme, provide mobility grants for collaboration, and appoint mentors to aid in securing grants and NRF ratings. Our Academic Mentorship Programme enhances researcher support, while we also encourage the establishment of new research chairs and seek internship opportunities to enrich experiences for both graduates and staff members.
