Leadership
The Language directorate is position strategically within the
- Deputy Vice Chancellor: Teaching and Learning, ensuring that the Directorate remains intertwined with the university’s core function,
- Director of the Language Directorate: Drives the strategic oversight of the language planning and decolonial pedagogies.
- Manager: Oversees the delivery of educational interpreting across all sites of delivery.
- Section Heads: Lead specialist units in Translation (Ms Onkutlwile Mere), Interpreting (Mrs. Mpho Mhonyera), and Language Education to maintain operational excellence.
