Backchat is an e-assessment tool that allows the user to create pre-recorded feedback for frequent errors and merge it seamlessly with unique comments. It also allows for the work of certain students to be flagged for issues like suspected plagiarism, language use or other user-allocateable categories. It allows for the use of a marking rubric and keeps track of most frequently used feedback tags. It is set up to work off-line, but to store files in a format that can easily be uploaded to most LMSs.
