Transition from Skype for Business to Microsoft Teams Phone
We are pleased to announce that the NWU will be transitioning from Skype for Business to Microsoft Teams Phone. This forms part of IT's strategy to have a unified telephony solution for the university and is part of our ongoing efforts to provide you with the best communication and collaboration tools available.
This process will be rolled out within the organisational structure of the NWU, and all active Skype for Business users will be migrated to Teams Phone over the next 2-3 months.
All existing Skype for Business features will still be available, and voice policies will be applied as it was in Skype for Business.
If you have any questions, please send an email to dt-comms@nwu.ac.za.
