Conference accommodation
Guests attending corporate events or social functions can enjoy a good night’s rest in our conference cabins.
We have 11 bunker-bed cabins, all equipped with linen and solar lights. Each cabin has its own sparkling clean bathroom with showers and toilets.

Conference and training facilities
Two conference spaces are available, depending on the number of people attending.
The Lion’s Den conference room has space for up to 30 people sitting around a U-shaped table. This airconditioned room has Wi-Fi and modern conferencing technology.
The Rhino Crash conference hall can hold between 50 and 100 people, depending on the setup. The hall has Wi-Fi and conference equipment.
The cost per person includes setup, two 500ml bottles, notebook and pen and standard conference equipment.
Refreshment and meals are available at an extra cost. Please note that no outside catering is allowed and all food and beverages are provided by the NWU Sports Village.
Functions and catering
We pride ourselves on hosting great functions where conference delegates can relax after a productive day, or colleagues, families and friends can celebrate special occasions. Year-end functions, networking gatherings and birthday parties are part of our repertoire.
For small, intimate functions of up to 40 people, the Leopard’s Rock Lapa on the banks of the Vaal River is the perfect venue.
For larger functions, the Cheetah’s Den dining hall accommodates up to 70 people.
Function prices include:
- Available tables and chairs (if other tables and seating is required, it will be at an extra cost)
- Crockery and cutlery
- Glasses
- Extra décor required can be hired in at an extra cost.
Catering
All catering is done by the NWU Sports Village, tailormade to your requirements. (Please note that no outside catering is allowed)
