Welcome Back, NWU Students!

09:00 | 18 July 2026

As we begin the second semester, the ACADEX team extends a heartfelt welcome to all students and wishes everyone success in their studies. May this term bring new opportunities for growth, collaboration, and achievement across our campuses.

ACADEX Pilot Milestone

The past semester marked the start of the pilot phase of ACADEX, NWU’s new Learning Management System (LMS). Only selected second‑semester modules are included in this initial rollout. These pilot modules have been successfully published and are ready for participating students to access and begin their learning journey in ACADEX. This milestone represents an important step in the phased implementation of ACADEX, with additional modules to be introduced in due course.

Transforming Digital Learning

ACADEX is more than a new LMS - it’s a bold transformation in digital teaching and learning. By enhancing accessibility, engagement, and collaboration, ACADEX is set to elevate the student experience and empower academic success across NWU.

More Than a New Learning Management System

09:00  |  22 June 2026

Acadex is more than a technology upgrade - it is a digital transformation that is reshaping how teaching and learning take place in the digital age.

By enabling interactive, student-centred learning experiences, Acadex supports active participation, collaboration, feedback, and reflection, helping students engage more deeply with their learning. The platform empowers lecturers to design purposeful learning journeys that move beyond content delivery to foster critical thinking, real-world application, and meaningful interaction.

Through innovative digital learning practices, Acadex will enhance the quality of teaching and learning, creating engaging educational experiences that better prepare students for success in a rapidly evolving world.
