World Intellectual Property Day is observed annually to recognise the vital role of intellectual property in fostering innovation and creativity.
The 2026 theme explores the intersection of intellectual property and sports, highlighting how innovation in areas such as technology, performance, and equipment is developed, protected, and applied.
Hosted by the Technology Transfer and Innovation Support (TTIS) in partnership with the Physical Activity, Sport and Recreation (PhASRec) the research entity within the Faculty of Health Sciences, this webinar aims to raise awareness and encourage students, researchers, and staff to become innovators.
