Cost: 
Analogue instruments R374 + installation cost of R520
Digital R3148 + installation Cost of R520
IP R3148 + PSU R300 + installation cost of R520
Internal calls are free, but all other calls are billed according to the standard Telkom rates.
Part of Digital and IP phone prices includes the cost of the following: Port on PBX; PBX License for Digital phone

User Responsibilities

How to request this service: 

Create a Service Billing in KFS with the following approver depending on you campus.

  • Mafikeng - CM Pietersen.
  • Potchefstroom - EM van Deventer.
  • Vaal Triangle - A Oosthuyzen and log a ticket providing the following information of the person who will be utilising the extension:
  • Requisition number.
  • Title, First Name, Initials and Surname.
  • NWU number.
  • Cost string.
  • Department.
  • Building- and office number.
  • Contact person’s name and extension.
  • Also state the service class(es) choosing from:
    • Internal calls
    • National calls
    • International calls
    • Local calls
    • Only using codes
  • Indicate if Voicemail is required.
