Supplemental Instruction (SI) is an academic assistance programme for historically difficult modules. SI sessions are informal review meetings in which students compare notes, discuss readings, develop study skills and predict test questions. These sessions are facilitated by SI leaders — students who have done well in the module previously. SI is a free service recommended for everyone. You will also have the opportunity to meet new people and make friends during an SI session. Contact the SI leader to find out when the next session is scheduled. Bring your notes, study material and questions to SI sessions.
WANT TO BECOME AN SI LEADER?
If you have done well in a module and enjoy helping fellow students ask your lecturer about becoming an SI leader.
